White House Correspondent Natalie Winters Claps Back At Podcaster Pearl Davis Who Is Seemingly Obsessed With What She Wears

Natalie Winters

The War Room‘s White House Correspondent Natalie Winters is in hot water again. This time, it’s not because of her spelling but of how she presents herself at press conferences and on Capitol Hill.

Shortly after President Trump’s inauguration, media outlets began appointing their White House correspondents, which is a thrilling position to hold no matter what media outlet you work for. Natalie Winters, a young reporter and co-host of Steve Bannon’s War Room, was slammed on social media after she made a typo with her new title in the caption.

Of course, most people didn’t care that much, given we all make typos, and it’s human error. But haters of the young and attractive reporter will find anything to tear her down, and they dug in like a pack of hungry wolves.

In the elk of her social media announcement, she was also dragged for “inappropriate” outfits, which also just fueled haters’ fires, keeping the commentary going that she’s unfit for this position. Does anyone even listen to what she says, or is everyone just coming after her for looks and minor mistakes?

The wolves have not backed down and are biting at Winters’ heels again after posting another “scandalous” outfit picture ahead of a recent speaking engagement.

One of these vicious attackers includes very conservative political commentator and podcaster Pearl Davis.

Pearl Davis is known for her very traditional view of gender roles. She often gives women very grim advice on waiting to get married at an older age, wearing very conservative clothing, and generally just shaming women who might not embody her ideal image. After seeing Winters’ post showing off her outfit for the engagement (which I thought was very cute), Davis sunk her teeth into Winters, shaming her for her appearance.

What about this is naked? Is nudity in the room with us? Sure, the dress is figure-forming, but it’s not exposing cleavage, and I bet it passes the fingertip test when Winters puts her arms down. The only thing keeping this from being business professional attire is a blazer, but I think Winters looks very polished. It might not be as matronly as some other women dress on Capitol Hill, but Winters is young and does not yet have children… let her flaunt it if she’s got it.

Winters quickly called out Davis, noting that many folks would call her outfit a dress, seemingly mocking her for the outlandish statement. We love a woman that bites back…

However, this is when things get funny. Davis replied to Winters again, noting that she would NEVER wear something like this pink Legally Blonde inspired outfit.

“I do not care what you do but you will not gaslight me into thinking that pose and outfit is appropriate, lol. Women in media are so good at using their sexuality to get ahead, demanding I not notice, and also demand to be taken seriously lmao.”

Davis might have considered that statement before posting it, given our digital age. After being so harsh to Winters, social media sleuths quickly dug up an outfit of Davis that was much more revealing than what Winters was wearing.

Davis defended, saying that this was different because she was at a concert and not a public speaking engagement. However, the whole thing just gives off major hater energy. I could maybe see it a little more if they had different political ideologies and the drastic difference in opinion, but given that both of these women are very conservative with their viewpoints, it just feels like Davis is being a mean girl.

What happened to women supporting women?

Even with social media seemingly siding with Winters, Pear Davis has not stopped her rampage and is continuing to degrade Winters through her social media posts.

Of course, this screenshot requires some context that Pearl conveniently left out:
