I guess we weren’t supposed to see that one?

The breakup between country music superstar Zach Bryan and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia) has already been incredibly messy.

For his part, Zach hasn’t really said much since the split, choosing to remain private about their relationship. But Brianna has…well, decided to go in another direction. The host of the BFFs podcast opened up after the split, revealing that Zach offered her $12 million to sign an NDA (which she obviously turned down) and drawing headlines for her accusations of cheating and emotional abuse.

Just a couple of weeks ago, both Zach and Brianna were in New Orleans for the Super Bowl at the same time, and while Zach didn’t publicly acknowledge being in the same place as his ex, Brianna told her podcast co-host that she was “terrified” of running into him while they were both in town:

“Wanna know what I found out? Well, you know, obviously I’m hanging out with you, but they don’t know… my ex boyfriend, the one that shall not be named, is staying on this street in a house. I’m, like, terrified.

What happens if we run into him? Like, what would you say? Do you think he would try to beat you up?”

A little dramatic there, eh?

But anyway, like I said, Zach hasn’t really acknowledged any of the drama surrounding their split and seems to be trying to just move on with his life and put it all behind him. Brianna, on the other hand…well it’s clear that Zach still owns quite a bit of real estate in her head.

Yesterday, followers quickly noticed that Brianna posted a photo to her story talking about her ex once again.

The podcast host was featured in the music video for the song “Thrift Store” by the band Arcy Drive, which was released yesterday. And in the post to her story, Brianna asked her followers to “comment nice stuff” on the video before Zach’s fans begin attacking her for it:

“So apparently Zach started posting this band after I’ve been obsessing and in the video, can you guys go comment nice stuff before his fans come and attack me lmao”

But apparently that story wasn’t meant for the public to see…

Brianna quickly deleted it from her story and posted a follow-up saying that it was only meant for her “close friends” story, which allows you to select a smaller audience of your followers and decide who can see your story.

Of course, a lot of people don’t believe the whole “oops, I didn’t mean to post that” thing, and think she was just doing it for attention. She can’t seem to stop talking about Zach, so it would be on brand for her to post something like that and then act like she didn’t mean to.

Apparently her antics have also started to rub some of her co-workers the wrong way, after her boss and Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy publicly supported her in the wake of her breakup and “tell-all.” Portnoy and her podcast co-host Josh Richards even dropped a Zach Bryan diss track, and the Barstool founder has been one of Brianna’s fiercest defenders through all of the backlash she’s received.

But according to one of her co-workers, not everybody at the company feels the same.

Kirk Minihane is an outspoken former radio host who now works at Barstool, hosting his own podcast The Kirk Minihane Show, as well as The Unnamed Show alongside Portnoy. And he’s made no bones about his hatred for Chickenfry, calling her out on several occasions on his podcast and claiming that she receives unfair treatment from Portnoy.

But recently, Chickenfry called out Minihane by name when she was on a podcast and complaining about…podcasters:

“Podcasters. Terrible. Hate podcasters. They’re the worst. Kirk Minihane.”

Ironic? Sure, especially considering she hosts her own podcast at Barstool, and was hired on in the first place because of her Plan Bri podcast.

But Minihane wasn’t fazed by the criticism, and went scorched earth on Chickenfry during a live episode of his own podcast last week:

“She can hate me. I hate her. She can hate me, I respect that. That’s fine…

Brianna Chickenfry should hate me. I’m fine with that. I hate her.”

Minihane said that his comments would probably get him in hot water with Portnoy, but it wouldn’t be the first time: Back in December, Kirk called Brianna “the biggest fraud on the internet” after Chickenfry became a Taylor Swift fan following her breakup with Zach. And after Brianna sent the clip to Portnoy, the boss called Minihane and briefly fired him over his comments.

But that didn’t stop Kirk from continuing to unleash on his co-worker:

“I know that her dad is probably going to text me now, he’s probably going to be all upset…

But I will say, I hate Brianna Chickenfry and I wish her nothing but misery for the rest of her life. She can hate me, believe me, my hate will outlive yours.

I’ll just say I’ve had several conversations with somebody she was in a relationship with on the phone, and as Robert DeNiro said in The Heat, there’s a flipside to that coin. There’s always another story. His, hers, and the truth.”

Now, Minihane didn’t confirm who he spoke to, but he implied that it was in fact Zach Bryan by mentioning that he was offered a trip to Ann Arbor – where Zach just announced he would be playing a concert.

“She can hate me all she wants. That’s fine. I think she’s a repugnant human being. The world is worse off because she’s in it.

And everybody at the company hates her. Everybody at the company hates her. But only one person has the balls to say it. What else is new?”

Of course, this kind of inter-office drama is nothing new for Barstool, which thrives on this kind of content. But Kirk and Brianna seem to particularly despise each other given their history.
