“Livin’ On Love.”

Over the weekend, Alan Jackson‘s Last Call: One More For The Road Tour made a stop in Fort Worth, Texas. Cowtown was rocking with a night filled with ’90s country gold as Zach Top was one of the supporting acts for the evening.

As I sat in my seat at Dickies Arena, I prayed that we might get Zach Top to join Alan Jackson on stage to address the rumors that Top is Jackson’s son. Given that it was Top’s first show with Jackson, he also hoped they could make a funny little bit out of the viral conspiracy theory on stage.

“I think the only way I’m going to get a straight answer is in Fort Worth when I finally meet him when we do that first show here in a few weeks. Just gonna go up and say, ‘Hi Daddy, I missed you.’

And we’ll see how he reacts, and I’ll know whether it’s true or not.”

While I am still keeping my fingers crossed that during the remainder of their shows together, we might see a moment when one of the legends of country music is joined on stage by the youngin’ who’s keeping that pioneered sound alive, we in Fort Worth did get another special treat that night.

In the heart of Texas, there were quite a few famous faces in the crowd, like the 2016 PBR World Champion, Cooper Davis, and Yellowstone actor Forrie J. Smith.

Forrie is an active citizen of Fort Worth, appearing at many events held in Cowtown, like the FWSSR, and participating in the annual celebrity cutting competition. But for this night, it was all play and no work. Forrie was off the clock at Alan Jackson and brought his fiancée for a little late Valentine’s Day date night.

Forrie was flashed on the screen and was met with rumbling applause as the jumbotron flashed him and his wife-to-be dancing. You can tell that Forrie and his fiancée are deeply in love as he holds her tight and sways to “The Blues Man.”

The folks who captured the clip quickly took off on social media as Yellowstone fans could not get enough of the tender moment. It’s adorable and is the embodiment of how to keep a lasting love alive.

Nothing tops dancing to an Alan Jackson love song.
