Wow.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s talent was passed down to their daughters, and now that they are all adults, it’s amazing to see them follow in their parents’ footsteps. Tim and Faith are parents to three daughters, Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. While all three girls have the same stunning look as their mother, Gracie and Audrey are pursuing the fine arts. Gracie is a singer and actress, and Audrey is quite the songbird.
We have written about Audrey before and her whimsical vocals as she often shares beautiful covers of songs to her social media pages, like the stellar cover of Emmylou Harris’ “Beneath Still Waters” she posted in 2023.
McGraw recently shared an older clip of her performing in London. The black-and-white video left her parents speechless; her dad also had to share it with the world.
“Back in August, ‘Cucurrucucú Paloma’ with the amazing Adam Chetwood at Green Note in London. Can’t wait to get out again and play some tunes.”
Audrey McGraw captioned the video. Her dad, though, had to brag on his daughter’s talent and shared the video, noting that it brought him and Faith to tears while watching.
“Had to post this, our baby girl Audrey bringing mom and dad to tears!”
Rightfully so, the video has taken off across social media. In a day, it received over 2 million views on TikTok and Instagram, and Audrey McGraw’s post received over 60,000 views.
McGraw sings “Cucurrucucú Paloma,” which is a Mexican song written by Tomás Méndez in 1954 and is famously known for the rendition sung by Lola Beltrán. Known as Lola the Great, Lola Beltrán, the renowned singer and actress, is praised for her interpretation of the songs “Cucurrucucú Paloma” and “Paloma Negra.”
Many commenters on the video referred to Beltrán’s version of the song, noting that she would be proud to hear McGraw’s rendition. Many were also surprised to listen to the Nashville native sing the well-known Mexican song.
McGraw’s vocal control is unmatched. The young talent captivates the audience with her impressive vocal range as she delivers the lyrics, which roughly translate into a mourning dove, giving the impression the narrator is lovesick.
Last year, Audrey McGraw shared demo clips on her social media, so hopefully, we will soon hear some original music from her. After watching this clip, I am craving more from her.
Check it out.
In the clip her father shared on social media, many celebrities, including the Broadway legend and Tony-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth, expressed their admiration for his daughter’s vocals. You know you’ve got talent when an original Wicked cast member is impressed with your voice.
