Turnpike Troubadours Announce Two Nights At Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Turnpike Troubadours
Western AF

Headed back to Red Rocks.

This morning, the Turnpike Troubadours announced a two-night run at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on May 8th and 9th.

The red dirt band will have Hayes & The Heathens and Noeline Hofmann open for them on Thursday May 8th, and Robert Earl Keen and Waylon Wyatt open the show on May 9th. Of course, they put on a live show that is second to none, and Red Rocks is an incredibly unique and beautiful venue, so it’s really a can’t-miss show, especially if either, or both, of those things are on your bucket list.

Turnpike of course reunited and released a new album called A Cat in the Rain in 2023, and have been consistently playing shows since then. This new announcement has fans wondering if there might be even more new music on the way in 2025, though we’ll see what happens on that front.

Tickets sales for the general public for both shows start this Friday, January 24th, though both concerts will obviously have a very high demand, so I’d recommend getting in on the pre-sales if possible.

And speaking of what Turnpike has been up to lately, they were recently featured on Western AF, which is a Youtube channel that features short setlists highlighting some of the best country talent in the industry.

Kicking off the live performance with “Good Luck Lorrie,” Evan Felker and the rest of the band look like they are barely trying the best way possible. They have their craft down, and being in this stage is nothing new for these seasoned professionals. After their old classic, they move into one of their newer songs, “Mean Old Sun.”

The shift from old to new highlights that even after some time apart, these Okies did not change their band’s sound; it just aged like wine during that time apart. They round out the performance with their fan favorite, “Pay No Rent,” before bringing it home with “Brought Me.”

The band also had quite a few appearances on Taylor Sheridan shows, with songs featured in Landman and a performance featured in Yellowstone.
