What a time to be alive.

We’re just an hour or so away from President Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, a historic moment on its own as Trump is set to become only the second president in history to serve two non-consecutive terms.

And man, it looks like quite the party.

Obviously a lot of us are excited about Trump returning to the White House, so there’s no doubt a lot of celebration from Trump supporters who traveled to Washington for the inauguration (despite the fact that the ceremony has been moved inside the Capitol due to weather and will no longer be open to the public).

And among those who are in DC for the inauguration are some of the influencers and celebrities who helped Trump get elected.

A big part of Trump’s strategy during the 2024 presidential election was to use non-traditional media like podcasts and social media to reach lower frequency voters, appearing on podcasts like Theo Von’s This Past Weekend and Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE.

It clearly worked, and is no doubt a big part of the reason Trump has such a newfound affinity for TikTok. And it looks like Trump invited several of those influencers and podcast hosts to DC to celebrate with him today.

A photo posted to Twitter shows Theo Von, Jake and Logan Paul, and several other influencers gearing up for the ceremonies.

And in a hilarious video posted to Instagram by Jake Paul, Theo Von had a warning for MMA fighter Conor McGregor as he sat beside Jake and Logan’s mother on a bus ride to the inauguration:

“Keep your hands off Pam.”

The Paul brothers were cracking up as Theo joked about their mom, and Pam looked like a chaperone on a school field trip who knew that she had no control over what the students did on the bus ride.

The whole thing just underscores the inroads that Trump has made on pop culture in the past few years, with some of the biggest personalities on social media joking around on a bus ride to a presidential inauguration.

And if you missed Theo’s podcast with Trump, it’s safe to say it was unlike any interview with a presidential candidate in history.

Much of the conversation focused on the drug crisis, with Theo speaking from firsthand experience as a recovering addict himself. And Trump, who has never smoked or drank alcohol, had plenty of questions for the podcast host, including about the difference between the effects of cocaine and alcohol:

“Is cocaine a stronger up? So you’re way up with cocaine, more than anything else you can think of?”

And Theo explained it as only Theo can:

“Cocaine will turn you into a damn owl, homie. You know what I’m saying? You’ll be out on your own porch. You’ll be your own street lamp.”

Just an insane thing to say to a former president and presidential candidate, but it also shows the culture shift that’s happened in the past few years.
