We’ve seen plenty of meltdowns since former President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election back in November. Women were shaving their heads and vowing to withhold sex from men for the next four years in protest of Trump’s win, and talk show hosts looked like they were attending funerals while reporting on the vice president’s loss.

And there are plenty of people on TikTok who are in just straight up denial.
Now, the electoral college already met back on December 17 of last year to officially cast their votes. If you’re not familiar with the process, voters in the presidential election vote for “electors” for their chosen candidate. Those electors, which make up the electoral college, then vote for the winning candidate to receive that state’s electoral votes.
And the next step in the process is for Congress to certify those electoral votes, which is happening today in Washington DC.
During a joint session of Congress, the House of Representatives and the United States Senate will meet and hear any objections to the electoral votes, and the Vice President, who presides as President of the Senate, will certify the electoral votes and officially name Donald Trump as the winner of the election.
Unless you listen to the people on TikTok who are convinced that Harris is still somehow going to be inaugurated president come January 20.

Well there you have it. The planets are saying that Kamala Harris is going to be the next president, so I guess Trump should just enjoy his time at Mar-a-Lago.
