The Internet Is Divided On Joe Burrow’s Monday Night Football Fashion Choice

Joe Burrow always dresses to impress.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has earned nicknames like “Joe Cool” and “Joe Brrr” both for his play on the field and his fashion off the field. Say what you want about the young gunslinger (like how he’s one of the best quarterbacks in hypothetical situations, or teams he leads historically get off to slow starts and then can’t dig themselves out of an early season hole), but he brings drip to every pre-game walk to the locker room.

Fashion is actually really confusing to me. I know art is in the eye of the beholder, but I’ve seen people dress up in some really wacky outfits that are then categorized as “high fashion.” Not too long ago, there was a pair of jeans selling for hundreds of dollars that looked like they were stained with pee. I really just don’t get it.

So when it comes to this outfit that Joe Burrow sported ahead of the Bengals Monday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, I don’t know where to draw the line (pun intended):

The former LSU standout (and national champion) has the internet buzzing about his pre-game outfit, and it’s one of those instances where some people are praising his “level of cool,” while others are wondering if he maybe lost a bet and had to wear that zany two piece pictured above:

Now like I said, there were plenty of comments like that questioning what in the world Joe Burrow was wearing.

But on the flip side, there were still some people online that apparently loved the garb (not short for garbage, just to be clear) of the Bengals starting quarterback:

Just wait until he starts showing up in a Batman costume next year…
