Luke Combs was stunned to see his name on the Sexist Man list.
Last week, People Magazine released its highly anticipated Sexiest Man Alive issue, revealing that John Krasinski would be taking home the honor for 2024.

However, while John Krasinski might have been named the Sexiest Man Alive, People also expanded the honors to some other men, curating their annual list of men who are the sexiest at every age.
From 20 to 41, people chose a man to feature over this two-decade span. Some of the men who made the list include Warren Zeiders for age 25, Noah Kahan for age 27, Hunter Hayes for age 33, and Michael Che for age 41, but the crown jewel is Luke Combs, taking home gold at age 34.
While we saw Combs being on the list as a win for all the regular dudes out there, Combs was more than surprised to see his name next to Warren Zeiders. If you recall, Luke opened up about his regular, average Joe appearance during his Joe Rogan episode last year:
“I mean realistically, I thought to myself, especially at the time I moved to town is like, dude, everybody that was doing music when I moved to town was hot, dude. 6’5”, abs, I mean… I didn’t have a chance, bro. I didn’t have a chance.”
He can eat those words now, as he did not give himself enough credit for his looks. Ahead of the CMA Awards tonight, Luke Combs talked about his shock seeing his name on the Sexy at Every Age list with AudacyMusic’s Katie Neal.
“I was very, heavily surprised. Heavily, heavily surprised. I thought it was maybe like most cheeseburgers ate this year or something, and I was like, ‘Oh, well, that could make sense.’
Maybe we are redefining sexy. That’s going to be my next album title, ‘Redefining Sexy.’ And it’s going to be like guys’ shirts don’t fit that good, and like they’re falling asleep on the couch watching football. If that’s sexy, I’m your guy. I’m YOUR guy. I’m your candidate.”
So, is Luke Combs officially campaigning for Sexiest Man Of the Year, not just to make the Sexy at All Ages list? Because that is something we can get behind. Maybe we will hear Luke comment about this honor if he takes home Entertain of the Year tonight at the CMA Awards. Talk about two of the most sought-after titles.
Katie Neal wrapped up the short interview by asking Combs what he was looking forward to tonight, and his answer was right on brand. While he’s excited about his performances throughout the night, he’s also excited to sneak drinks with his wife.
“But mostly just sneak drinks with my wife in the front row. I got sh*t in there, you don’t know about.”
We will be right there with Luke throwing them back as the CMA Awards airs. I mean, you kinda of have to be a little buzzed to get through the awards, right?
