How do they keep doing it?
It’s no secret that it’s been a tough time for some festivals and tours lately. Obviously with the economy and inflation, fans are more and more conscious about spending on live music and demanding more for their dollar. As a result, we’ve seen several festivals and tours cancelled over the past year or so, with others announcing that they won’t be returning in 2025.
But somehow through the tough times, Two Step Inn in Georgetown, Texas just keeps getting bigger and better.
The festival debuted in 2023 with a killer lineup that mixed classic country with some of the biggest names out there today, featuring headlining performances by Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers along with names like Charles Wesley Godwin, Wynonna, Travis Tritt, Tracy Byrd and many more.
It was easy to wonder whether they would be able to match their inaugural lineup in 2024 – but they came back this year with headliners Cody Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours and Hank Williams Jr. for a sold out event that drew a crowd of over 30,000 people.
And they’ve once again managed to keep up that incredible momentum with their 2025 lineup.
Just announced last week, Two Step Inn unveiled a lineup that mixes old school, new school, and everything in between.
The 2025 festival will be returning to San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas, just outside of Austin, on April 5-6. And the stacked lineup will feature headliners Alan Jackson, Sturgill Simpson, Miranda Lambert & Lynyrd Skynyrd next year, along with performances from some of the biggest names in independent country like Gavin Adcock, Treaty Oak Revival, Flatland Cavalry, Ryan Bingham, Shane Smith & The Saints and Ole 60.
As usual, the lineup also includes some of the best of ’90s country with names like Tracy Byrd, Diamond Rio, Aaron Tippin and Sammy Kershaw. And to close out the evenings, the festival is also bringing in Diplo and Nelly to give fans a little something different.
The festival expanded this year, from three stages in its inaugural year to four in 2024. And as somebody who’s been to this festival before, I can tell you that the best part is being able to bounce around between the stages to catch all of the incredible artists they bring in.
Usually as you get further down a festival lineup it can be harder to pick out artists you’re interested in seeing. But as you go through the lineup for Two Step Inn, it’s hard to find anybody I wouldn’t want to catch – which is a good problem to have, even if it means making some tough decisions as you plan your day.

Alan Jackson has already announced that the festival will be the last time he plays in the Austin, Texas area, as he wraps up his farewell One More For The Road tour and steps away from the stage. And Sturgill Simpson has been one of the hottest tours lately as he debuts his new “Johnny Blue Skies” alter ego and reminds fans why he’s one of the best in the game. So this is clearly going to be a festival you’re not going to want to miss.
Two day and 1-day tickets are available and on sale now, with 2-day tickets starting at $299 and 1-day tickets starting at only $169.
But if you want to upgrade your experience, Two Step Inn also offers some upgraded packages to take advantage of exclusive festival amenities, like dedicated festival entrance lanes, private lounges with getaways from the crowd, prime viewing & seating areas, and much more. They’ve even added packages this year that will allow you to catch the action from directly on the stage, which is something I don’t think I’ve ever seen at a festival.
You can also take advantage of Layaway Plans to claim your tickets for as little as $25 down during checkout, so you can go ahead and claim your spot even if you’re not ready to pay for it just yet.
You’ll be able to find all the information you need on their website here. And with the last two editions selling out, I probably wouldn’t wait too long to claim your spot.
I’ve been to quite a few festivals, and Two Step Inn is far and away at the top of my list, with not only its killer lineup and selection of stages, but also the location just outside of Austin, and the food and drink selection showcasing the best of the Lone Star State.
