There’s some good news and bad news surrounding the bulls that got loose at a recent Massachusetts rodeo.
The good news? All of the bulls were captured and put back into their pen, besides one who was finally tracked down last night. The bad news? It seems like there was a reason why the last one was so hard to wrangle, judging by the video that was taken last night of a poor guy getting clotheslined by it.
In case you missed the original story, a rodeo at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, Massachusetts went haywire when the bulls they were keeping in a parking-lot-pen busted out and started running amuck. It was originally believed that eight total bulls got out and quickly started causing chaos in the surrounding area.

According to reports, one was captured and returned to the pen before it got too far away, and another six were found trapped by some fencing at a nearby home. The North Attleboro Fire Department reported that those working with the rodeo had successfully accounted for all but one of the missing bulls, and warned those in the community not to approach it:
“The North Attleboro Fire Department reports that rodeo personnel are still actively searching for the remaining bull on the loose. No town assets or emergency personnel are involved in today’s search efforts.
Community members should exercise extreme caution and not approach the bull if found. If found, community members should call 9-1-1.”
Well guess what? The guy in the video found it, and I wouldn’t say that he “exercised extreme caution.” If you are asking me how I see it, I’d say he exercised, “What if I could somehow control this wild bull by putting my hand up and walking right towards it?”
As you might imagine, that didn’t go all that well.. and the caption for this post is wildly misleading:
“Incredible scenes as the final bull is wrangled in heavy traffic on the highway in North Attleboro.”
I’m no expert in rodeoing, but I don’t think the guy was the one doing the wrangling there. Things looked ugly, though they were apparently able to capture the last bull that was on the loose, so there’s a silver lining for the story… and that man’s ego.
