Another Monday Night Football game, another day of Twitter flaming players’ pre-game outfits.
Last night, the Washington Commanders took the win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jayden Daniels walked into Joe Burrow’s house and threw down, outdueling the star quarterback with a very impressive rookie performance. And now, sitting at 0-3 with a healthy Joe Burrow, Bengals fans are trying to figure out how this season got off to such a bad start.

But Burrow’s on-field performance is not the only thing getting heat right now.
If you thought his training camp Slim Shady hair was terrible, wait until you see what the internet had to say about what he showed up to the stadium wearing. The former LSU player rolled up to Paycor Stadium sporting a peach-colored shirt with matching vans and cream cargo pants. To top off the look, he wore a silver chain and a puffer vest that matched the color of his pants.
While the outfit itself is not the worst thing, when you combine it with the frosted-tip look of his grown-out hair, he is a dead ringer for Ellen DeGeneres. While I can’t unsee that comparison, many social media users also say he looks like an *NSYNC or Backstreet Boy member. Instead of being on the field, he’s ready to make his “Bye Bye Bye” music video debut.
Can you imagine how embarrassing it is to open social media after the game to see your performance flamed along with all these comparisons?
Maybe Burrow should consider sporting a nice pair of slacks and a polo until his team’s record turns around. I can only imagine the tough skin you’d need to take this much social media heat.
