Ray’s Bar was the spot last night.

Last night, Zach Bryan shared via X (formally Twitter) that he was planning on doing a pop-up show at Ray’s Bar.

The caveat was there are NUMEROUS bars named Ray’s Bar nationwide. So, his initial post was quickly filled with fans questioning the location or even asking if he could give them a hint as to which state he would be in.

While some users quickly ran to their local Ray’s Bar, many were disappointed that their location was not the one ZB would be gracing.

However, for those in New York City, that local Ray’s Bar hit the jackpot. Zach Bryan and some friends gathered around a long bar bench and fired up some of his fans’ favorites on his acoustic.

The dive bar was packed, as the location isn’t a giant venue. Those who either stumbled into the bar at the right time or were lucky in their search for which Ray’s Bar he would be playing at scored big, enjoying the very intimate show by the country music superstar.

ZB touched on songs throughout his whole catalog, from his first hits like “Heading South” to his newer songs like “28,” and, of course, he had to throw in the beloved “Revival.” The packed bar was singing alongside Bryan with every word.

After ZB wrapped up the pop-up show, he hung around the bar, shot pool and enjoyed a few cold snacks. Based on the look of this dive, I think it’s safe to say this spot makes the list for The Great American Bar Scene.

Check it out.
