I reckon a Texas audience wasn’t too let down by seeing the Longhorns eviscerate Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday, but how could you possibly have a bad time either way watching football at a place like Cosm Dallas?
Yeah, I didn’t know this place existed until today either. Then all these videos from the joint started popping up on social media and I couldn’t believe my eyes. These fans were immersed in the live game viewing experience, basically seated in one of the Big House’s end zones.

Look, I’m not gonna poo-poo anyone who wants to get schmammered at at tailgate party early in the morning, stumble their way to a stadium that seats 100,000+ people, only to have to abscond to the bathroom a handful of times to potentially miss key plays from the game. That’s your prerogative if that’s your speed. But like, going out to any sort of bar or restaurant pales in comparison to what Cosm is doing here.
Tickets can’t be terribly cheap, but to be honest, I’m sure it’s worth it. OK I had to dig a little deeper and look it up. At Cosm, you can get tickets to “The Hall” or “The Dome”, with the latter being the experience you see on that massive screen above. One seat at a “Level 1” high-top table costs $77 for the Notre Dame-Louisville game in a few weeks. They actually charge more the higher up you go.
Shoot, a Level 1 high top seat at that price is good enough for me. That might beat going to the game in person. You don’t have the hassle of parking, sitting isn’t as much of a clusterf**k, and you essentially get once-in-a-lifetime seats with full-on dining and drinks service. No epic journey to the water closets, either.
There’s another Cosm venue in Los Angeles, where they were showing off Texas A&M’s Kyle Field in a recent video.

Couldn’t be more on board with Cosm. If these two venues take off, don’t see why they can’t keep taking it to big markets like New York City and Chicago.
Solid Connor Stalions joke here by Morning Brew. I respect the wit.
This is what the first touchdown in Texas-Michigan looked like on Cosm screens in Dallas today
Picture so clear you could steal the signs from the Texas sideline (if you did that sort of thing)pic.twitter.com/zZpjBshXP4 https://t.co/CbxLyZ6w4u

What is going on in college football with these ranked matchups, by the way? Other than USC and LSU, they’ve been a whole bunch of nothing burgers. Any chance we can eradicate preseason polls? It just creates all this artificial buildup to games that suck. Oh well. Good for Texas.
That was a beatdown of the reigning national champs, who may need to steal signs if their quarterback play between Davis Warren and Alex Orji continues to be this poor.

Davis Warren has looked like an FCS quarterback this season…what is Michigan doing? Don't they have like a legit freak athlete behind him? How bad is Alex Orji to not start over him? I'm so confused as to what they're doing on offense. LOL. JJ McCarthy might be good idk pic.twitter.com/jwgRS5iOad
