Now, THIS is a theme I’d love to see walking down the streets of Broadway.
In this day and age of weddings, bachelor and bachelorette culture has become a huge part of the wedding planning process. The final hoorah before tying the knot includes extravagant trips with equally over-the-top themes for each night of the trip. Many destination cities like Nashville, Las Vegas, or Miami see many of these parties coming through the doors of their bars and restaurants. Some groups of women will dress to the nines, and others will take a more comedic route regarding their themes.
While I love the route of a less-than-serious bachelorette theme, I recognize walking around as founding fathers or in Goodwill wedding dresses might not be everyone’s cup of tea. One bachelorette group is going viral on social media for their comedic theme, which has to be one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.
Country music icons.
Each member of this bachelorette party dressed up as their favorite country music legend, and this group of ladies committed to the theme wholeheartedly, leading to a hilarious and iconic night. From Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson and The Judds, to Hank Williams Jr. and Reba, each costume was spot on to the character they embodied that night.
The country icons each took a second in front of the camera to note who they thought would get the drunkest during their night out. Very on brand for the artist himself, many members of the group believed that Hank Williams Jr. would be the drunkest after their night out. Given that the last clip of the viral TikTok shows the group on stage singing “Family Tradition” from Bocephus, I’d say that their predictions might have been true.
I hope we see more of this bachelorette theme in the future.
