Anyone else seeing double?
It’s not uncommon for younger athletes to emulate the greats of the game. But the line has to be drawn somewhere, because it’s a little concerning how much Nebraska Cornhuskers freshman quarterback (and five star recruit in the 2024 clas) Dylan Raiola looks like the three-time Super Bowl winning QB Patrick Mahomes.
Raiola looks so much like Mahomes that he’s currently going viral on social media:

As you can see by the photo shared by Adam Schefter, Raiola rolled up to the Cornhusker’s preseason camp looking like a Comic Con Patrick Mahomes. You could even say he looks like an actor playing Mahomes in a corny Hallmark movie. Or you can go with any of these:

Fatrick Mahomes seems a little too “low hanging,” and Pat himself is kind of known for the dad bod. But I do like Patrick MaHouses for some reason. It’s simple (and not all that offensive) and effective.
And just in case you were thinking that the above picture isn’t actually a college kid that looks like Mahomes and it was instead Patrick himself playing dress up, here’s the proof to put that theory to rest:
Before you ask “has anyone ever seen Patrick Mahomes & Dylan Raiola in the same room before…?”
Yes, yes they have. https://t.co/wGj3SWi90Y pic.twitter.com/8ZA44tAaSf

This might not be the last we see of Dylan Raiola. He’s a highly touted five star recruit that just got to Nebraska, and he’s the son of longtime NFL center Dominic Raiola. It appears that football runs in the family… and a side effect of that may be looking like an already existing NFL star.
Raiola’s likeness to Mahomes got the attention of Tyreek Hill, who tagged his former teammate in a quote post so he could see it. The Kansas City QB doesn’t seem to mind the copycat-ness, because after all, isn’t imitation the sincerest form of flattery?
