Is this the end of an era?

Zach Bryan just released his new album, The Great American Bar Scene, and fans have been loving the 19-track album thus far, noting that he is some of his best songwriting. From anthemic tracks like “American Nights” to slower, more moving ballads like “Memphis; The Blues,” the album is filled with a song that can relate to everyone.

But if you are among those who don’t love the album, ZB has noted that he doesn’t care.

“I finally felt like I’s making music again. If you don’t like it, I assume it’s not intended for you. Grab your beers through tears & fears, The Great American Bar Scene.”

However, shortly after the album’s release, fans began to notice that Zach Bryan’s artist information on Spotify contains some disheartening verbiage. At the end of his biography, it’s noted that Zach Bryan is currently on his last tour.

“His most recent release was on July 4th, 2024, with his third studio album, ‘The Great American Bar Scene.’ He is currently on his last tour ever, the ‘Quittin’ Time Tour.'”

Bryan has not commented on this, but it feels as though we are reliving 2022 when Bryan told fans that he was going on his last tour with the American Heartbreak Tour.

It’s unclear when this bio was actually written, and it also seems like it was written by AI, but either way… Zach Bryan has spoke on the matter before.

As we all know, The American Heartbreak Tour was NOT his last…

ZB has been getting bigger and bigger each year, currently selling out his largest shows ever, quickly filling stadiums with 70,000 fans. Given his recent tour lineup, it seems as though he was not planning on slowing down one bit. What does this mean?

Is Zach Bryan really done touring after this? Does the last tour mean the last headlining tour, and he will do what George Strait does now and do a few shows a year? Is the Quittin’ Time Tour going to be like the Eras Tour and never end?

I fear we will only know the answer when Zach Bryan chooses to speak on the matter. In the meantime, snag the tickets and enjoy the music he makes. You never know how good something is until it’s (potentially) gone…

Check out some of the chatter about it on social media.

“I think that’s because the tour actually never ends. He may take a break, but it seems like the Quittin’ Time Tour has already gone on for quite some time. Maybe it’ll be a 30-year tour.”

“Everyone is on their last tour ever. It sells tickets.”

“Going on “tour” and still playing concerts are two different things. He’s done “touring” set schedule every day something’s happening. He said he’s still playing concerts just not a set tour schedule anymore plus he’s in his last year of his Warner contract.”

“Well that would explain the insane ticket prices. Grab as much cash as you can with the label and split after the contract is over. It would be a boss move to just take 5 years off or more and then come back one day or not at all.”

“I swear he has said “this is my last one” every tour he has done haha.”

“Y’all, he said this in 2022, and I saw him three times because of it. Lol, I would not bet on it.”

“I think he just needs a break; he’s been touring pretty nonstop for a while now. Let him relax a year or two, and he’ll probably be back out there.”

Let’s all calm down, eh?
