My wife and I got a puppy last month and I’m shocked at how quickly I’ve become all-in with all things dogs.
My social media feeds are nothing but training videos, food ads, and working dogs and I’m constantly reading reviews on dog foods, treats, and workouts to help our hound mix be the best she could be, which is strange because I didn’t grow up with dogs and truly didn’t understand the obsessive nature of so many owners.
We rescued our pup from a shelter (I know, I know, we’re heroes) and got to rename her since she was only 8 weeks old. I had lots of ideas but eventually we settled on Cashew since she’s a girl but we can shorten it to Cash because I love the Man in Black.
