She simply does not miss.

Today, Morgan Wade released a gorgeous new piano-heavy ballad from her forthcoming third studio album Obsessed called “Moth to a Flame,” the fourth song we’ve heard from the project so far.

The beautifully honest song finds her relishing in the fact that she finally found a significant other who chooses to stay every day, as opposed to her usual heartbreak over the end of a relationship. Per the usual, it features some gorgeous poetry and lyricism, where Morgan notes that it’s such a joy to finally be able to write about “the one that chose to stay” and not “the ones that got away.”

It’s so simple, yet powerful in terms of feeling her emotions of finally feeling truly loved:

“And I’ve spent all my nights praying for you
And I’d lay down my life right here for you
And I gave up on dreams I thought would never come true
But I traded my Friday nights for life with you

Take off your clothes babe,
I just wanna feel your skin
I don’t need the lights my hands know where to begin
And Like a moth to a flame,
Baby I’m drawn to you,
Our souls intertwined,
Like it’s what we were born to do”

Morgan is so good at these sultry, simultaneously unpretentious love songs that seem to grab my attention every single time.

So far, we’ve also heard “2AM in London,” “Halloween” and “Time to Love, Time to Kill” from the Obsessed tracklist, but this might be my favorite yet:

Obsessed is a solo-written, 14-track album that was produced by Morgan’s touring guitarist Clint Wells, and it’s due out everywhere on August 16th.
