Post Malone’s country album is coming soon.
The superstar took to Instagram the other day to announce that F-1 Trillion is due out everywhere on August 16th.
It will likely feature his mega hit single with Morgan Wallen “I Had Some Help,” in addition to the forthcoming single with Blake Shelton “Pour Me A Drink,” which will be out everywhere tonight at midnight.
And this morning, Posty shared the album cover on his social media accounts, which features a vintage Ford truck sticking straight up in some kind of lake or pond:
“The F-1 Trillion album cover is an artwork by Gonzalo Lebrija. Pre-order at midnight.”
We should be getting a tracklist tonight when the pre-order goes live as well, which we haven’t gotten much official detail about thus far, so stay tuned…
Post has of course been teasing, and releasing, several country songs from the forthcoming country album, and his song with Morgan Wallen “I Had Some Help” (which is the lead single) just notched a fifth straight week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
He also teased another new one the other day called “She Ain’t Yours,” and I can’t wait to find out what other songs made the final cut. Posty has been pictured in the studio writing with the likes of Morgan, Ernest, Luke Combs and some of Nashville’s most prominent writers, which means we’re likely in for some great stuff and maybe even a few surprises.
Posty has teased a duet with Luke, as well as a solo classic country heartbreaker called “Never Love You Again” that I am already obsessed with, so we’ll see soon if those all made the final cut.
This is the classic-style country I was hoping Posty would deliver and I can’t wait to hear how it sounds with a little production:
