When I saw “Party Bus injures 4 people” I just assumed the bachelorettes in Nashville were at it again. But this time, it was a bull in Oregon.
A scary scene went down this weekend at the Sisters Rodeo in Oregon when the bucking bull named Party Bus jumped a fence into the crowd, eventually escaping the arena and injuring four people in the process.
Video of the incident shows the bull hopping out of the ring as the crowd sings along to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.” It then makes its way towards the rodeo grounds, where it began its rampage through the food vendor stands before eventually making its way back to the pen and being secured by the rodeo’s pickup men.

The announcer can be heard telling the crowd to get to higher ground:
“Get to higher ground everybody. There’s a bull out. Open the gate boys. Everybody in the grass, get in the grass or under the grandstand. The pickup men are coming around. Everybody keep your eyes open. A bull is in the grass.”
@itsnicole_____This was crazy to witness. Hope everyone who got hit, is okay 😭🙏🏼
According to NBC News, four people suffered minor injuries, with three being transported to the hospital by ambulance and one being taken by police cruiser. All four have reportedly been released from the hospital.
In a statement from Sisters Rodeo, organizers said that safety is their top priority, and praised everybody who responded to the incident:
“On Saturday, June 8, 2024, during the final section of the bull riding event at the Sisters Rodeo, a bull jumped a fence. The rodeo announcer immediately activated the emergency response plan. The bull ran out through the rodeo grounds and back to the livestock holding pens. Rodeo livestock professions quickly responded to safely contain the bull. It was secured next to the livestock holding pens by our rodeo pickup men and immediately placed into a pen.
The Rodeo Sports Medicine Team, Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD, and Cloverdale RFPD, rodeo staff and local law enforcement responded immediately with first aid and care. First responders confirmed that three persons were injured as a direct result of the bull; two of whom were transported to a local hospital.
We wish the best to all affected. The safety of our fans is our highest priority and we appreciate their support.”
The rodeo continued on after the incident, wrapping up yesterday.
