A new live album from Billy Strings is coming SOON. The bluegrass extraordinaire Billy Strings just announced he will release Billy Strings- Live Vol. 1 on July 12th.
While fans would love new music from Strings, let’s be honest: a live album is basically new music. With his jam band-style live performances, you never know what tangents he will break off into from a song, making no performance exactly alike. This is part of the reason he is so extraordinary to see live.

Given the Instagram announcement of the live album Billy Strings—Live Vol. 1, it appears this is the first part of a larger live album project that Strings has been working on. It feels like he is following in the footsteps of the Grateful Dead, who are known for their live performance albums. With the live album, Strings also announced that he is holding a contest to guess the tracklist, and winners will be eligible for concert tickets and more.

Fans have a chance to win tickets to the existing show dates along with the new dates that Strings just announced for the fall of 2024.
This man truly does not stop. He has been touring all of 2024 thus far, and new dates will carry him through the end of the year on the road. His fingers truly never stop moving as he brings bluegrass to fans all over the world.
