Red Clay Strays Release New Single “Wanna Be Loved,” Announce Date For Forthcoming Album ‘Made By These Moments’

Red Clay Strays
M.B. Coleman

New music coming in HOT from the Mobile, Alabama boys.

This single and album release date has been a long time coming for the Red Clay Strays. The band is undoubtedly one of the hottest names in the music world right now, capturing the hearts of country music fans and beyond with their Southern rock, traditional country, and blues sound.

Last week, the band announced their highly anticipated forthcoming album. In 2023, the group noted that they were collaborating with the legendary producer Dave Cobb on the album. After disclosing the album’s name on Theo Von’s podcast, today, they announced a release date and dropped the lead single, “Wanna Be Loved.”

“Our next album: ‘Made by These Moments,’ comes out July 26th, but you can pre-save now with the link in the bio. “Wanna Be Loved” is out now everywhere you listen to music.

And to top things off, our “These Moments” tour will be coming to a city near you this fall. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 31st.”

Talk about a way to boost your Wednesday.

The new single “Wanna Be Loved” highlights the feeling of not feeling like you are enough and seeking someone to validate that you are on the right path. The traditional Southern rock sound perfectly compliments the lyrics to the single, instantly striking a chord with listeners.

“I just wanna be loved
Can you tell me
I’m worthy or important
Am I working hard enough
Oh, I just wanna be loved
I just wanna be loved…”

The accompanying music video highlights frontman Brandon Coleman as a young boy stuck in his thoughts of not being good enough and Coleman climbing back and forth from that space to the present day. The connection between the two shows that even if you feel loved now, there are times when you let your mind drift back to that place of feeling unloved or when you did not feel valuable.

The visuals match the messaging perfectly, further driving home the message that they sing.

“Wanna Be Loved” is the perfect single to come out of the gate swinging for Made By These Moments. I am very excited to see what else is in store for the rest of this album in July. You should put this track on max volume today.
