You can’t please everybody.
Zach Bryan is gearing up for his massive Quittin’ Time Tour, which kicks off on March 6th at the United Center in Chicago and runs through the end of the year. And joining Zach on the road this year will be names like Jason Isbell, Turnpike Troubadours, Sierra Ferrell and Sheryl Crow.
The tour sold out quickly after going on sale, with fans clearly pumped to see one of the best live acts in country music right now.
So ahead of the tour, Zach dropped a (since-deleted) teaser for his fans and gave us a glimpse at the setlist for his upcoming shows.
Here’s the setlist that he’s got lined up:
- Open the Gate
- God Speed
- Overtime
- Great American Bar Scene
- Good I’ll Do
- From Austin
- Oklahoma City
- Nine Ball
- Tradesman
- Crooked Teeth
- Ticking
- Better Days
- Sweet Deann
- Heavy Eyes
- Tourniquet
- Fear and Friday’s
- Snow
- Condemned
- Oklahoma Smokeshow
- Dawns
- I Remember Everything
- East Side of Sorrow
- Something In the Orange
- Highway Boys
- Hey Driver
- Heading South
- Burn, Burn, Burn
- Quittin’ Time
- Revival
Hard to be mad at that one.
But of course with a catalog like Zach’s there’s no way you can play every song that fans want to hear. So people immediately began complaining that their favorite songs weren’t included and requesting changes to the setlist.
And Zach took some of those requests into consideration, revealing that “Fifth of May” was inadvertently left off but will be included on the setlist.
He also agreed to add “Deep Satin” to the list, as well as “’68 Fastback.”
And it sounds like “Tishomingo” will be on there too.
And somebody also requested (in a since-deleted tweet) that he play…the Tyler Childers song “Jersey Giant.”
Regardless of what ends up in the final setlist (which is likely to vary from stop to stop and throughout the tour), you know you’re in for one hell of a show from Zach.
And I mean, as long as it ends with “Revival,” I’ll be happy with whatever he wants to play. (Although I’m pumped that “Fifth of May” is on there. That’s my favorite ZB song).
