Is a stork flying over the McCollum household.

Canceling a show in August of this year seems like it could have some underlying reasoning, given it’s eight months out. Parker McCollum took to Instagram today to let fans know that his College Station show on August 30th is canceled.

Hey, good morning, College Station, Texas. Our show on August 30th, 2024, is officially canceled. All tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. I apologize for any inconvenience; this is all due to unforeseen circumstances.”

He says in the Instagram video. Later, he explains that everything will make sense in the future as to why the show is canceled.

“That being said, we have some exciting news that we’ll be announcing in the near future, so be on the lookout!”

He notes in the caption of the Instagram video.

Fans QUICKLY filled the video’s comment section, speculating that McCollum and his bride, Hallie, are pregnant, and the two are to have an August due date.

“Y’all are having a baby!”

“He’s gon have a kid 100%.”

“Somebody is going to be a Dad???”

“The wifey pregnant?”

“Is your wife pregnant?”

“Hallie’s definitely pregnant.”

“Hallie Ray is pregnant, huh?”

“Hope it’s a baby on the way!! So exciting for them.”

“Sounds like we’re gonna have a new baby.”

While the majority of the comments are filled with notes of excitement for the couple (assuming the news of a baby is on the way), a few users think that it also might mean he is opening up for someone much more prominent.

“Here is my crazy guess. They gotta open for Skynyrd and ZZ Top.”

Also, that would make for some incredible news.

Although, with a Red Rocks show just a few days before, and a Corpus Christi show the day after, both of which have not been canceled, I think it’s pretty safe to say that a baby on the way isn’t the reasoning. Only time will tell what kind of congratulations is in order, but it is pretty far out to be canceling shows.

After McCollum and his wife rang in the new year with fans at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, the two jetted off to get some R&R in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Talk about a relaxing start to the new year. Look at these two beautiful people:
