Now, this will get you in the Christmas Spirit.

Earlier this past week, NBC aired the ‘Christmas at the Opry’ special, and it was a night to remember.

With some of country music’s most famed faces graced the historic Grand Ole Opry stage to sing holiday tunes. While every performance from the night was good, one that stuck out to me was the duet of Wynonna Judd and Kelly Clarkson.

Talk about putting two powerhouses together on stage, joining forces for a rockin’ rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.”

From the start, the performance is high energy, getting the audience on their feet, singing, and clapping along. Wynonna opens the song and lets her roaring vocals shine as she tells the kids to make sure they aren’t pouting or crying. Kelly joins Wynonna for the harmonious chorus, and their vocals blend perfectly. Wynonna stays on the lower alto note while Clarkson takes the soprano line.

It’s a perfect harmony because you can still hear their distinct voices, but it blends so well it sounds like they have been singing together for years.

Clarkson then takes the second verse and lets it rip as she belts out her verse, showcasing her incredible vocal talent. We all know that Kelly Clarkson can sing, but times like this make you see and appreciate her abilities even more.

Kelly Clarkson and Wynonna look like they are having a blast on stage, dancing with the band and giving little gestures to the cameras as they pan in on the artists.

I think I will put out a poll that these two should put together a Christmas album of all the Mariah Carey holiday songs that we can’t stand anymore.

This was the “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” refresh I never knew I needed.
