“We F*cking Fought Harder” – Dan Campbell Delivers Full Throttle Postgame Speech After Lions Comeback Win Against The Bears

Dan Campbell
Detroit Lions

Dan Campbell is doing amazing things in Detroit.

The current Detroit Lions head coach has completely turned things around over the past three seasons. The team went 3-13-1 in his first season in 2021, but were competitive in just about every game, unlike many bad Lions teams in the past.

And just last season, the Lions took it up another notch by going 9-8,  barely missing the playoffs. This season? The Lions are 8-2 and are destined to make the playoffs, and the hype in Detroit couldn’t be any higher.

The team has a ton of talent, with quarterback Jared Goff playing the best football of his career (although he didn’t look very good yesterday), rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs starting to hit his stride, a stud wide receiver in Amon-Ra St. Brown, and a great rookie tight end in Sam LaPorta. With those ingredients, the Lions offense is arguably the most fun to watch in the NFL.

And of course, when you have an absolute electric factory as a head coach, that can help change the culture as well. Campbell is known for his electric pregame and postgame speeches, and you never have to worry about the guy not bringing the energy to the team week in and week out.

With that being said, Campbell put those attributes on full display after the Lions defeated the Chicago Bears 31-26 yesterday.

He told the team after the win:

“I’ll tell ya, you f*cking guys. Holy sh*t. We are a resilient team, gentlemen. We are resilient, we go find a way to win.

They freaking came out, and they fought us, but we f*cking fought harder! And we went and got the win. That’s outstanding.”

If you’re ever having a bad day, just listen to a Dan Campbell postgame speech. You’ll be wanting to run through a brick wall in a heartbeat.
