Joe Rogan Says Aaron Rodgers “Thinks He’ll Be Back In 6 Months”

The Joe Rogan Experience is always churning out episodes, which means that we’re always going to get some interesting quotes from Joe Rogan himself.

On a recent episode of the podcast, Rogan had fellow martial arts guru turned podcast-comedian Eddie Bravo on the show, and they were talking about the untimely injury of Aaron Rodgers.

As you most likely already know (unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last month), the New York Jets brought in Rodgers to lead their talented team to the Super Bowl, and he suffered a season-ending injury just 4 snaps into his Jets tenure (5 snaps if you count the Achilles itself).

It seems as though Rogan and Bravo were in the same boat as everyone else that witnessed it when they tuned into Monday Night Football: in utter shock and disbelief that things could fall apart that fast.

Bravo was talking about that on the podcast, saying:

“And then the first drive, after all that hype with Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers in New York City…it was huge.

And then BOOM, he’s gone for the season.”

Boom is right, because one could argue that the injury has basically caused the New York Jets to implode, mainly because the team had to start playing their back up Zach Wilson (who sucks, but we won’t get too much into that).

As soon as Bravo got his thoughts out about it, Rogan quickly chimed in about the injury recovery timeline for Rodgers, who already had a successful surgery on the ACL a few days after he went down.

Rogan stated:

“Yeah, he thinks he’ll be back in 6 months. He said it’s usually six to twelve months (for recovery), but he said that’s with vaccinated people…

He was f**king around.”

He was clearly poking fun at the “immunized” quote from when he was still with the Packers in 2021, however, I don’t doubt that he’s serious about getting back in 6 months.

Whether he is able to or not is a different story, but he’s sure as hell gonna try.

Remember what he told Pat McAfee:

I’ve had friends who’ve done it, fellow competitors who I know who’ve done it and have come back from it.

I think what I’d like to say is give me the doubts. Give me the doubts, give me the media, the timetables, all the things that you think can should or will happen, because all I need is that one little extra percent of inspiration.

That’s all I need. So give me your… doubts, give me your prognostications, and then watch what I’ll do.”

We’ll see…
