This looks like it was a helluva time to film.

Charlie Worsham dropped a brand new music for his song “Kiss Like You Dance,” which features Kip Moore and will be included on Charlie’s forthcoming Compadres project.

The five-song EP features some of his nearest and dearest collaborators and fiercest champions in Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Elle King, Kip Moore and Lainey Wilson, and was produced by The Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston.

Charlie says Compadres was really a chance to celebrate the friendships he’s made in the music industry over the years, and “Kiss Like You Dance” is specifically one he loves to play live, adding that it’s full of “honky tonk guitar gold”:

“‘Kiss Like You Dance’ is irresistibly fun to play, it’s a fun singalong and it’s full of honky tonk guitar gold. Love playing it live.

I’m especially excited that my buddy Kip is on this track, and we’ve got a killer music video coming for y’all soon.”

Charlie is an incredibly talented musician, a former member of Old Crow Medicine Show, and has worked with some of the top artists in Nashville as a session musician, notably and more recently being part of Eric Church’s Heart & Soul triple record (though that was all recorded in the mountains of North Carolina, but you get the point).

He also tours as part of Dierks Bentley’s live band, and was honored with the 2022 ACM Award for Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year.

And in the new video, seeing as the song is about spending a night with your significant other after a long week of work, you see Kip, Charlie and others at the bar taking shots and drinking the night away.

At the end, there’s also a special appearance from John Osborne of Brothers Osborne, but you’ll have to watch the whole thing to find out why…

Compadres is due out everywhere on October 13th, and you can check out the music video here:

Charlie previously released a reworked version of his 2013 song “How I Learned To Pray” with Luke Combs:
