If you can’t laugh at yourself…
HARDY has been on the road non-stop for his The Mockingbird & The Crow fall tour and supporting fellow artist and friend Morgan Wallen. While on the stadium leg of touring, he came across a TikTok some teenage girls posted with crickets as the background sound and an on-screen caption reading:
“Who’s HARDY…”
As the video pans to the girls sitting in their seats, silent.
HARDY decided to have a little fun with the TikTok by taking the clip, cutting it, and adding his single “SOLD OUT.”
When his track kicks in, the footage clips to some of the packed venues and amphitheaters he has played, along with some notable appearances. The clippings of his footage make for some pretty epic tour promotion.
He rounds out the response TikTok with a clip of him walking past a table filled with his awards and accolades, sporting a neck full of medals, saying:
“Never heard of him..”
The TikTok is appropriately captioned:
“Stay humble.”
I think this is the most disrespectfully respectful comeback I have seen in a while.
