Brooks Koepka Gives Unintentionally Hilarious Answer On How To Fix Slow Play In Pro Golf: “Start Stroking Guys”

Sheesh, the pro golfers have been bringing the jokes here lately.

Yesterday, we saw 24-time PGA Tour winner Dustin Johnson hilariously describe how he pulled a back muscle earlier in the year…

Turns out it may have been because he was having sexy time with this wife Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky.

In the LIV Golf interview, Johnson was asked:

“What did you do to your back?”

And he responded:

“I just pulled a muscle, lower back.”

The reporter asked again:

“Swinging a club or lifting up a kid?”

And that’s when Johnson hilariously responded with a massive grin:

“No… Yeah, lifting up a kid, a bigger kid.”

Next thing you know the whole room erupted with laughter.

And now, we have Brooks Koepka throwing out some wild statements on the podium…

Now, I don’t think Brooksy realized what he was saying in this one, but it turned out to be absolutely hilarious.

Koepka was talking during the interview about slow play in pro golf:

“Yeah, I mean there’s a lot of guys out here who take their time. I think it is a problem. I mean technically in the rule book it says you’ve got like 40 seconds to hit your shot, or I think that’s what it is. And if you take it over, technically you’re breaking the rules, right?”

He then went on to discuss how the issue should be fixed, and that’s when he accidentally let this one slip:

“I’d say start stroking guys.

If you’re gonna take that long you gotta get stroked.”

HUH? YOU WANT TO DO WHAT TO WHO?

As a golfer myself, I know he means adding strokes to the score of guys who are playing way too slow, but my God that came out completely wrong.

And of course Twitter had a field day with their responses:

Phrasing, Brooksy. Gotta be careful what you say up there.
