Oh yeah, that’s the good stuff right there.
Tracy Lawrence is back with a brand new live album, recorded at the incredible Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. And it’s everything you’d want from a Tracy Lawrence live album – and more.
Of course the Live at Billy Bob’s features Tracy’s incredible ’90s country sound, with the authentic vocals that are immediately recognizable and all of the beautiful fiddle and steel that make Tracy’s music so iconic.
But there are also some surprises on there, like a cover of Jamey Johnson’s hit “In Color,” as well as the Charlie Daniels classic “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
Of course Tracy’s at his best on his own classic hits like “Time Marches On,” “Alibis,” and “Paint Me a Birmingham.” Even as somebody who’s a big fan of Tracy, I always look back at his catalog and forget just how many hits he really had, songs that I love but somehow don’t always think about like “I See It Now” and “Stars Over Texas.”
Man, I’m getting more excited about this album just talking about it.
Speaking about the project, Tracy says that releasing a live album that was recorded at the iconic Billy Bob’s is a special way for him to celebrate the fans who have been with him over the years:
“This live recording is a great way to celebrate the fans and the moments we’ve shared on stage over the years.
Being able to come back time and time again to Billy Bob’s and feel the passion of the Texas crowd is always a treat for me and the band.”

And if you happen to be in the Fort Worth area, Tracy’s holding a special album release show tonight at – you guessed it – Billy Bob’s, to recreate some of the magic from his live album.
But if you can’t be there, putting this album on repeat might be the next best thing.
