It’s no secret that Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee has seen its fair share of incredible live performances since it was built in 1999.

I mean c’mon, it’s literally located in the heart of Music City, so the best of the best across not only the country music genre, but music in general have played at the near 70,000 seat venue.

Nissan Stadium has featured the likes of Beyoncé, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and so many more.

However, one artist has separated himself from that legendary pack…

And it’s no other than Luke Combs.

The famed country singer/songwriter played two shows this past weekend at Nissan Stadium, and shattered the stadium’s two-day attendance record with a whopping 95,000 fans in attendance.

He also broke the single day concert attendance record with a whopping 59,000.

Combs weighed in on the impressive feat:

“Music City, man… when I moved here, I just wanted an opportunity to be around music in any capacity, so I never could have dreamed of a weekend like this, especially with a last-minute notice of the Friday show to the fans but they showed up… just like they always do. Nashville, thank you. I’m glad to call this home.”

Gary Gesh, President of Global Touring and Talent at AEG added:

“This only further confirms what we have always known: Luke is a monumental talent whose voice and music continues to find a larger and larger audience. We couldn’t be prouder to be a part of such an extraordinary career.”

Ashlee Stokely, Tennessee Titans Vice President of Stadium Events & Experience also weighed in:

“Nissan Stadium is ‘Nashville’s Biggest Stage,’ and we are thrilled to kick off our summer concert season with record breaking attendance at the 2023 Luke Combs tour.

The energy and excitement in the stadium was electric as Luke delivered an unforgettable show in Music City.”

Man, just when you think ol’ Luke has reached the mountain top, he just keeps climbing.

The feat was just another addition to his already impressive 2023 thus far, as he dropped his stellar Gettin’ Old album last month, and is embarking on yet another worldwide tour, which features stops in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France, and Belgium.

That being said, Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to Nashville next month… no doubt she’ll put up a fight for the record.
