Howard Stern Responds To Kid Rock & Travis Tritt’s Bud Light Boycott: “I Don’t Get It… Why Are You So Upset About This?”

Bud Light has been under fire on social media since they announced their partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The announcement spawned a video from Kid Rock who shot up cases of the beer and said “f*** Bud Light,” and Travis Tritt announced that he would remove Anheuser-Busch products from his tour riders.

Here’s the Kid Rock video if you missed it:

Long time Sirius XM radio personality Howard Stern saw the reactions to the Bud Light partnership and expressed that he was “dumbfounded” by the response.

On “The Howard Stern Show” yesterday, Stern took in all of the different reactions regarding the backlash and still felt like he was “missing something.” Stern said:

“I thought there must be a piece of the story that I’m missing. I’m not bothered by gay people or transsexual people. They don’t impact my life, they don’t hurt my life.

I love when people are in love. You wanna be a woman? Be a woman. You wanna be a dude, be a dude.

Be whatever you f*cking want. As long as you ain’t hurting anybody, I’m on your team.”

Stern, who many credit for creating the “shock-jock” persona, went on to discuss how he personally knows Kid Rock and wondered what exactly the music maker’s thought process was behind Rock’s viral video.

Stern stated:

“Kid Rock, I know him. He’s got a great life. He transitioned from some kid in Michigan to a rock superstar.

I’m really dumbfounded by why someone would care so much that they would blow up a can of Bud Light and say, ‘F*ck Anheuser-Busch.’ I don’t get it.”

The SiriusXM host then went on to say that he would love to hear from both Kid Rock and Travis Tritt to discuss the situation with them:

“I wish I could call Kid Rock and have him come on the show and just tell me ‘Why are you so upset about this? How is this hurtful?’ I don’t know why he got so upset.”

Only time will tell if Stern will get to sit down with either Kid Rock or Travis Tritt, but if it ever happens, I’m sure it will make for some interesting content.

Following the partnership with the TikTok influencer, it is being reported by Fox Business that sales of Bud Light have declined in rural areas and the heartland, and one business owner said that Bud Light draft beer sales in their restaurant dropped “50%” since the announcement was made.

And how about this for a full circle moment… Kid Rock performed at Howard Stern’s 46th birthday party way back in 2000.

Kid Rock and John Daly Rock Out To Tyler Childers’ “Whitehouse Road” Together

You think some booze was had here?

John Daly and Bob Ritchie… two mythical American legends whether you like them or not.

Golf buddies, beer buddies, making headlines for controversial reasons buddies, Kid Rock and John Daly have become poster boys for the “I don’t give a f-k” approach to life.

One thing is for certain… they definitely know how to have a good time.

There’s not a ton of context here (the video is a couple years old), but the duo was filmed jamming out to Tyler Childers’ “Whitehouse Road” on the bus, and if it isn’t a real life “Me And The Boys” meme, then I don’t know what is.

Just guys being dudes…

How about Bob going shirtless with the overalls?
