I Need Zach Bryan’s Unreleased Song “Honey” On An Album Yesterday

Zach Bryan country music

Zach Bryan, man.

The dude honestly just can’t miss. Despite having one of the most prolific discographies of any artist in recent memory, there is just a plethora of more songs that are unreleased (my personal favorite being “Dark”).

There are so many videos you can find on YouTube or TikTok of snippets or full songs that are of the same quality as what Zach Bryan is putting out on his albums.

One that I’ve recently been obsessed with is, of course, a love song… I just can’t get enough of this guy’s love songs.

But in an interesting turn of events, “Honey” is just super sweet and doesn’t have that signature Zach Bryan self-loathing that we’ve all come to know and love.

The song follows a pretty typical storyline with the singer talking to his partner and telling them that they are worth more than all his material possessions and that they make him crazy:

“You’re my honey pie, you’re my sweet lover baby
Call me nuts but I think that you crave me
Maybe we’re crazy, maybe we’ve lost our mind
But I can look into your eyes every night and day
You hypnotize me with the things you say
Wouldn’t have it any other way”

I mean, come on, that’s pretty swoon worthy. Maybe it’s because I am so used to Zach Bryan having all of these intricacies and complexities in his love songs that deal with the double-edged sword of love and hate, this dare I say simple song feels refreshing.

On its own, the song could come off as really cheesy, but when pushed in with all of Bryan’s discography, it feels earned. The simplicity is hard to come by, making it perhaps more meaningful since most of his love songs do not share the same straight-forward message.

If you haven’t checked out this song, then I highly recommend that you do as soon as possible.
