If there is one thing about me, I love a quality Austin City Limits performance.

I grew up on old ACL videos, and it is still one of my favorite things to watch new artists take the historic TV stage.

Most recently, Parker McCollum took the stage with Robert Earl Keen for his Austin City Limits debut, which was taped on September 7th.

The episode featured a a handful of fan favorites, songs from McCollum’s 2021 album, Gold Chain Cowboy, and his newest single. McCollum recently released two videos for his performance of “To Be Loved By You” and “Handle On You.”

I was stoked to see these two video clips because I have been listening to “Handle On You” a ton since its release, and “To Be Loved By You” is in my top five from the album.

McCollum has a way of delivering knock-out vocals like he isn’t trying at all. That is probably why he is such a heartthrob among fans because he never looks like he is trying too hard with that charming “Texas boy” essence.

It was definitely a bucket list kind of performance for the Texas native, and he knocked it out of the park.

“Handle On You”

With McCollum’s CMA Awards nomination for New Artist of the Year, this performance could not have come at a better time. This reminds fans and viewers of the talent McCollum has.

If you a fan of Parker McCollum or ACL, these two videos are a must-watch. The anticipation of the CMA Awards are now around the corner, and it will be interesting to see if McCollum can secure the award.
