Vince Gill & Blake Shelton To Join Brantley Gilbert For Upcoming Song “Heaven By Then”

Looks like we have a good one coming our way.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not a big Brantley Gilbert guy.

Don’t get me wrong, “Take It Outside” gets me fired up, and hell, I may have shed a tear to “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” after my first breakup, but then he drops some garbage like “Rolex On A Redneck” or “Bottoms Up”  and it ain’t my bag.

For me, that Brantley Gilbert wheelhouse is those deep ones that don’t get much press. Powerful songs like “Just As I Am,” “Fire & Brimstone,” “My Faith In You,” and even “One Hell Of An Amen.”

With that being said it appears he may have another patriotic song in the works, titled “Heaven By Then,” as he teased the intro to the song on his Instagram.

It’s slated to drop on November 10th, the day before Veteran’s Day, which makes me believe that this one is gonna be all about those brave men and women who lay down their lives to keep this country free.

But then I heard the teaser and it may be a different direction:

Hmmm… interesting.

And then to top it all off, he’s brining in a couple buddies for this one.

Blake Shelton and Vince Gill are joining Gilbert for the song, two country music stars in their own right. And of course, you might have Vince’s phenomenal pickin’ skills on display as well.

Shelton is a great singer when he’s not singing about a “body language” (literally the name of his last album), and Vince Gill may be the smoothest vocalist in country music history (hot take? maybe….).

Typically when I see some news about a new Brantley Gilbert song, I just say “meh” and go on with my day, but I just might have to keep an eye on this one.
