It’s not really a surprise, but some of country music’s biggest stars are getting PAID.

I recently looked up the net worth of various major country stars, and no matter who you decide to look up, the findings are always insanely intriguing.

Some will surprise you, some won’t, but it’s still mind-blowing at times to know just how much money some of these people are racking up.

So without further ado, according to Playback.FM, here’s the 10 richest country music artists and their impressive net worth.

10. Brad Paisley- $92 million net worth

Brad Paisley rocked the country music world in the late ’90s and early 2000’s, and the man is still putting out music today.

Known for his great media personality and humorous lyrics with songs like “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” “Ticks,” “Alcohol,” and some sweet sappy songs like “We Danced” and “Mud On The Tires,” the guy has become one of the most recognizable names in country music.

Needless to say, he ain’t hurting financially.

9. Alan Jackson- $99 million net worth

The man, the myth, the legend. If you’ve been following Whiskey Riff for a while, you know we’re some big time AJ fans. Known for being a trailblazer in the ’90s, he also just listed his Tennessee mansion for a cool $23 million.

8. Reba McEntire- $102 million net worth

Everybody loves Reba. She etched her way into country music fame back in the early ’90s, has had her own tv show, and is one of the most well-known female country artists to walk the planet.

7. Kenny Chesney- $219 million net worth

It’s hard to find a guy in country music who’s had as much consistent success in the country music world from the late ’90s until now than Kenny Chesney.

From singing songs about small town livin’, sexy tractors, to living the high life on the beach, the East Tennessean has released a number of legendary songs.

6. George Strait- $327 million net worth

Not gonna lie, this one surprised me. King George has been dubbed by many as the greatest country singer of all time, so it’s a little surprising to see the man sitting at number six on this list.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d do some bad shit to have accumulated as much money as this man over the years, but still thought he’d be higher on this list.

However, the guy did set a record after earing $18 million at a single concert during his 2012 Farewell Tour and with the relatively recent launch of his Codigo Tequila, even more money should be rolling in.

5. Garth Brooks- $335 million net worth

If you follow country music, you know Garth is quite the character. From his alter-ego “Chris Gaines,” his terrifyingly creepy introduction to Facebook video, lip-syncing at the 2017 CMA’s, and known to cry a few times a day, the man kinda gives me some weird vibes.

But, you can’t ignore the fact that the man is arguably the greatest entertainer in country music history. I mean the numbers speak for itself, seven-time CMA entertainer of the year? Sheesh that’s impressive.

4. Taylor Swift- $375 million net worth

I have a guilty confession to make. I’m a sucker for some old Taylor Swift country music. “Our Song” is a jam and you can’t tell me otherwise. I know, you’re probably thinking about how she doesn’t even sing country music anymore, but as a former singer in the genre, you gotta give credit where credit is due.

She decided to do things her own way, and I’d say it’s worked out pretty damn well for her. However, she seems to be leaning towards her country roots again after her 2020 folk album, Folklore. She even re-released her original country hit, “Love Story,” back in February.

3. Shania Twain- $420 million net worth

Shania Twain was a force to be reckoned with in country music back in the ’90s, and is still one of the most recognizable names in the genre today. I mean everybody on this planet knows her hit song, “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.”

From her stellar country career, media personality, and even serving as judge for American Idol for a period of time, the Canadian star has had quite the successful career, and the numbers prove it.

And she’s still doing it.

2. Toby Keith- $515 million net worth

Yep, the patriotic cowboy from Oklahoma has done pretty damn well for himself. The guy hit the country scene in the mid-90s, and has been off and running ever since.

From starting his own record label, his own chain of bars, sticking up for country music legends like Merle Haggard, writing songs with Willie Nelson, and being as patriotic as possible with songs like “American Soldier” and “Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue,” everybody knows the guy.

1. Dolly Parton- $590 million net worth

Now I could’ve bet my life savings that Dolly would be number one on this list, which would equate to almost 0% of her net worth. But there’s no arguing that Dolly is the most well known and loved female country artist of all time.

From her insanely good country music, her philanthropy, and not to mention her awesome theme park “Dollywood” (if you haven’t been, you need to), she has stamped her name into country music fame for all of eternity. Nobody is more deserving than her.

And just think… it all started right here.
