Yellowstone Star Kevin Costner (AKA John Dutton) Is Making A Whopping $1.3 Million Per Episode

Wow… now that’s a lot of money.

You already know that the stars of Yellowstone are probably getting paid boatloads of money, considering the show is the most popular one on the planet right now.

Not to mention, stars like Kevin Costner, and new stars for the show’s prequel series 1923 Helen Mirren, and Harrison Ford, have already made an unimaginable amount of money in their already famed acting careers.

With that being said, we’re getting an idea of just how much these stars are making per show… and as you can imagine, it’s a TON of money.

According to Variety, Kevin Costner is making $1.3 million per episode in Yellowstone.

On top of that, the site states that Mirren and Ford are each making $1 million per episode for the upcoming prequel series 1923.

Sylvester Stallone, who is starring in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming show Tulsa King, will also be making $1 million per episode.

This is pretty wild to think about, because six-figures a day is typically as high as most networks or streaming services will go to pay actors, so many are trying to put the cap at $1 million to keep it under control.

Of course, as much money as Yellowstone, the Paramount Network, and Paramount+ have accumulated over the past few years, these amounts aren’t as surprising as one may think, as the finale of Yellowstone season four racked up a total of 9.3 million viewers.

Either way, that means the biggest stars in the Taylor Sheridan universe are some of the highest paid television actors in the business.

Yellowstone Season 5 is set to air on November 13th with 1923 following in December.

And if you’re wondering where that money goes…

Rent Kevin Costner, AKA John Dutton’s, 160-Acre Colorado Lake House

Want to live like John Dutton?

John Dutton, the patriarch of Yellowstone’s Dutton family is played by the great Kevin Costner.

Known for his roles in Bull Durham, Tin Cup, The Highwaymen, JFK, Dances With Wolves, and many more. His resume is long and impressive, and he also has a badass country rock band, Kevin Costner & Modern West.

But if you think he’s living it up in Hollywood every day of the year, guess again. In fact, in his free time, he lives a life much closer to John Dutton, nestled on a beautiful 160-acre spread in the Rocky Mountains.

“It’s just beautiful, with three lakes and a river running through it. My whole family spends some of our best times there.”

And when he’s not around… it’s for RENT.

Sure, you’re gonna need a whole bunch of rich friends, but the stunning Aspen, Colorado, ranch comfortably sleeps over 30 people in three separate houses, and features three lakes, a river, baseball field, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, hiking, and pretty much everything you could ever want.

Not to mention some of the most breathtaking views this country has to offer.

At $30,000 a night, it’ll run you a pretty penny, but hey, if you got the means (and like a TON of friends) go for it.

I mean, look at this place.

And of course, you can also rent a cabin on the real life Dutton Ranch in Darby, Montana, but with them filming so much over the past couple years, and perhaps the next couple… rentals might be hard to come by.

And while we’re on the subject of Kevin Costner, Yellowstone, and things that are awesome, check out Kevin’s killer country playlist.
