Muscadine Bloodline Drops Absolute Twanger With New “Me On You”

Just months after the release of their sophomore studio album Dispatch to 16th Ave., Mobile, Alabama, outfit Muscadine Bloodline has already released their latest single “Me On You.”

A few weeks ago, Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton shared a video an acoustic version of the song, and now the full version is out on streaming platforms.

They had this to say about the release on Instagram:

“We’ve been at this for 7 years and we’ve been blessed. But something just feels different about this one. After 2020, the mind set changed from chasing recognition to just chasing what you love with your best friends.

We are content but we are still hungry and we ain’t changing anything. To all the artists out there who are still trying to figure it out like us, just keep your head down and keep fighting the good fight!

To our fans, the love y’all have shown us on ‘Me On You’ has been amazing and we can’t wait for y’all to hear it and the whole record.

Let’s make tomorrow the best release ever. Love y’all.”

Muscadine Bloodline is one of the best bands in country music, and they have proved it with the release of their last two albums. Like much of their music, “Me On You” features clever lyricism from writers Stanton, Muncaster, and Ryan Youmans. Check out the fast paced boot stomper here.

“Me on you
Like white on rice in your mama’s jambalaya you ain’t had in while
Me on you
Like black on night by the mighty Mississippi, she’s a-running for miles
Well, I know you know you gone and took control of me and there’s nothing that I can do
‘Til the break of dawn or the cows come home,
I’ll be right where you want me to be and that’s me on you…”

And this morning, it’s sitting right at the top of the iTunes Country Charts and #2 all genre… COME ON WITH IT.

If this single is any indication, Muscadine Bloodline’s third album is gonna be a force to be reckoned with.
