Chris Stapleton And Pink’s Powerhouse Duet Of “Love Me Anyway” Never Got Enough Love

Can we all just agree that Chris Stapleton should sing on every song from now on?

Every song in the entire world, featuring Chris Stapleton… oh what a world that would be.

Fresh off a handful of Grammy wins, I got to thinking about Chris Stapleton and some of the features he’s been on in recent years. I mean, everything from Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran to Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and Adele…. Chris has been everywhere.

But one that seems to fall through the cracks is his 2019 duet with Pink.

Written by Pink, along with country music songwriters Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin, it was the fourth single from Pink’s 2019 Hurts 2B Human album.

Since the song was first released, fans of both Pink and Chris Stapleton, but really anybody that likes music at all, were instantly obsessed. The following month, Pink even brought Chris out as a surprise guest to perform the incredible duet at Madison Square Garden.

Pink and Stapleton also performed the song at the 53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards.

The song was released to country radio, but of course, didn’t even break the top 50 because they were too busy playing Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch (no women) and some other bullshit.

And this isn’t the first time Pink collaborated with a country music star. Back in 2016, she joined Kenny Chesney on his hit single, “Setting The World On Fire.”

Pink and Stapleton, two powerhouse vocalists, one phenomenal song… hold onto your asses people.

As I mentioned before, while performing in NYC’s Madison Square Garden, the pop superstar surprised the fans when she brought out Chris Stapleton for a powerhouse duet.

They both crushed it, of course, and Pink ends the performance with a bow and faint… can’t blame her.

Gotta love it.
