On to Richmond.

After last weekend’s fireworks at COTA, the NASCAR Cup Series makes its way to Richmond Virgina for the Toyota Owner 400 at Richmond Raceway.

After a wild Daytona 500 that saw rookie Austin Cindric throw a monster block on his teammate Ryan Blaney and hold off a hard-charging Bubba Wallace to take home the checkered flag in only his second start in the Great American Race, we saw fireworks between teammates Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, after Kyle appeared to throw a late block and put Chase into the wall.

Some last minute pit strategy saw Alex Bowman steal the checkered flag from Kyle Busch in Las Vegas, Chase Briscoe got his first win, William Byron found his way to victory lane in Atlanta, and last week, Ross Chastain bumped and banged his way into his first career Cup Series win at COTA.

Ryan Blaney will once again start on the pole for the third time in four races, and he’ll start in the first row along with William Byron.

So without further ado… let’s get to the odds, picks and predictions:

Predictions:

Once again, I’m still high on the Penske boys as Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric. Logano and Blaney have run great all year sitting at second and third in the standings, and this track shouldn’t see the kind of unpredictability we’ve seen at others this season.

Even though Blaney is starting at the front, I like Joey Logano to take the checkered flag.

I also like Tyler Reddick who’s looked good this season, Briscoe again because he’s starting at the top, Kyle and Kurt Busch, and Martin Truex who’s always been good at this track historically.

Daniel Suarez continues to race well and Kevin Harvick could be in line for his first big win in quite some time.

Picks:

Here’s what we’re going with for the Daytona 500:

Winner: Joey Logano

Top 3: Ryan Blaney

Top 5: Kevin Harvick

Top 10: Daniel Suarez
