Country music is the lifeblood of Whiskey Riff, and we pride ourselves on standing firmly in the corner of the independent artists, and those few in the mainstream still doing it the right way. Whether it’s Waylon, Willie and legends of the past, or superstars in the making like Zach Bryan, our finger is always on the pulse of true country music. From Texas to Tennessee, Appalachia to Bakersfield, Whiskey Riff is THE unapologetic voice of the country music fan.
A RIFF on what makes the great outdoors…great.
“Country” is more than just a steel guitar. It’s a lifestyle. A mindset. A cold beer, hot grill and the great outdoors. A lifestyle so perfectly captured by the country greats of yesterday, but still alive and well today in artists who truly get it.
Whiskey Riff is that lifestyle.
Say goodbye to boredom.
The best playlists in country music…period.
On ‘Whiskey Riff Raff,’ Steve Gazibara and Wes Langeler give an unfiltered and unapologetic take on country music, life, and all the craziness that comes with it. Laugh with us. Rant with us. Drink with us.
There’s lots of animals out there that I want to steer clear from. Monkeys are on that list.
Raw strength and incredible intelligence makes them extremely dangerous. Yes, there amazing but that can be seen from a distance and that’s where I want to be.
New York Post reports that a monkey in a U.K. zoo climbed a pole and killed a seagull… and it was BRUTAL.
The video shows it all… and it all is, well… pretty shocking to say the least.
The video starts and you can see a whole bunch of seagulls, like a lot. Then you realize there’s something large and black up at the top of a pole. And it is beating something off the pole?
In proper King Kong fashion, beating a seagull off a pole while he held himself up by the strength of his legs.
Extraordinary? Most definitely
A zoo visitor, Bec Adamson witnessed the whole event unfold.
“It was like watching the real King Kong.
We’d just been to see the rhinos, so we were walking across, then I saw all these seagulls circling and then this monkey caught one as it was flying past
It was really clever. I started filming. When I zoomed in I could see he was battering the f**k out of this seagull. I couldn’t believe I was catching it on video”
I can’t believe it either, it almost doesn’t look real, but it is.
Although it happened in a zoo, this is a once in a lifetime encounter and it is impressive.
They got their moneys worth at the zoo that day, that is for sure.
They zoo goers even go onto say they could visible see the monkey’s enjoyment as he licked blood off of his fingers when he finished.
This is normal for this species, capuchin as they hunt birds, frogs and other wildlife regularly in the wild. But certainly not a normal occurrence at any zoo.
This is why I want to stay clear of these animals. The monkey grabbed a bird right out of the air and beat it to death.
This has to be the wildest video I’ve seen in a bit.
