We’re barely a week removed from when Tom Brady, the GOAT, the man who will go down as the greatest quarterback of all time, officially retired…

And now, he’s already saying that it might not be the end.

On the latest episode of his Let’s Go podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, Tom man gave some (possibly) very telling information about his future in the sport.

He hinted at the fact that he might not be done, and could still change his mind:

“I’m just going to take things as they come. I think that’s the best way to put it. You never say never.

At the same time, I feel very good about my decision. I don’t know how I’ll feel six months from now. It may change, it most likely won’t, but I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week.

I think it’s not looking to reverse course, I’m definitely not looking to do that. But, at the same time, I think you have to be realistic that you never know what challenges there are going to be in life.

I love playing, I’m looking forward to doing things other than playing, that’s as honest as I can be.”

Could it be?

I’m still on this whole bandwagon conspiracy theory that Brady will sign a one-day contract in New England, and retire as a Patriot, but the thought of a comeback sounds pretty awesome too.

You have to think the guy still has something very big in store for the people up in Foxborough, Massachusetts, considering he didn’t say anything about them in his initial farewell retirement letter (the follow up post alluded to his time in Boston).

Maybe we’ll see the GOAT strap on that helmet one more time, but I’m not getting my hopes up…
