Tom Brady Doesn’t Say A Single Word About The Patriots In Retirement Statement… & Twitter Erupted

Well, we knew the day was coming, and it’s finally here.

Tom Brady, well-regarded as the best quarterback in NFL history, has officially announced his retirement.

The 22 year veteran has played in the NFL longer than a lot of us have been alive, racking up seven Super Bowl rings, five Super Bowl MVPs, two NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards, and 15 Pro Bowls.

Not to mention, he’s the NFL leader in passing yards, touchdowns, completions, quarterback wins, and more.

I mean, I don’t care what anybody says… he’s the GOAT any way you slice it.

He released his official statement today, thanking the fans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the staff, his teammates with the Bucs, his family, his wife and more, but he left one certain detail out that has the world buzzing…

Not once did he thank the New England Patriots organization, the fans, or Bill Belichick.

Pretty strange to not thank an organization you won six Super Bowls with, considering it appears Brady and Belichick and the Patriots were on good terms following his departure back in 2020.

Maybe he has something else in mind for the Patriots, maybe he plans to retire a Patriot, but I can’t imagine releasing a lengthy statement and simply “forgetting” an organization you spent 20 years of your career with.

Needless to say, the Twitter folks noticed too… and they’re PISSED.
