Count me in.

The Circle Network is teaming up with the United Service Organizations (USO) for the inaugural Opry Live: USO Holiday Special, which includes a number of heartfelt stories, along with some live performances from Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs, Jessie James Decker, Craig Morgan, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, and The War & Treaty, all on one of the greatest stages in all of country music.

The show is set to air on the Circle Network at 9 PM ET on Saturday, December 18th, with the hour long broadcast hosted by Kellie Pickler, who is a USO Global Ambassador and country singer in her own right.

The show will also be live streamed on the USO and Circle All Access’ Facebook, and YouTube channel.

The USO is a nonprofit that helps active service members to stay connected to their families while they’re away fighting the good fight.

Christopher Plamp, USO senior vice president of operations, programs, and entertainment, expressed his excitement for the upcoming event:

“We are grateful to have the iconic Grand Ole Opry host this special and the talented artists bring a bit of home to our service members and military families.

We hope this holiday special reminds each of us of the sacrifices made on our behalf every day by our brave men and women who serve our country.”

Circle Network’s general manager Drew Reifenberger added:

“The men and women of the United States military make selfless commitments that often separate them from their families during the holidays.

We are honored to work with the USO and these artists to create a community-wide holiday experience that will hopefully bridge the distance through music, well-wishes and a sense of togetherness.”

Lastly, Pickler also shared her thoughts on the event:

“I’ve never worn the uniform, but I’m a proud supporter for those who do. As a Global Ambassador for the USO, I hope to share the importance of serving those who serve us all.

I’m excited for the opportunity Circle Network has provided, as their support within the country community is unparalleled.

They’re bringing together a community who supports one another and shedding light on matters that are often overlooked, making them the perfect home for this holiday special.”
