Terry Bradshaw Rips Aaron Rodgers On Fox NFL Sunday For Lying, Taking “Cattle Dewormer”

Terry Bradshaw football

In case anyone is surprised, Sunday is here and Aaron Rodgers is still the talk of the football world.

By now, it’s pretty well understood what happened, but then again, nobody reads anything other than headlines so maybe it’s not all that well understood what happened.

So from the top…

Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19, and since he not vaccinated, he needs to quarantine and will be forced to miss today’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

And that might be fine, but at the beginning of the season, when Rodgers was asked if he was vaccinated, he said be had been “immunized” meaning that he’s had vaccinations before, but that did NOT include the COVID-19 vaccination.

So Rodgers has now been accused of, at best, intentionally misleading the public with his statement, and at worst, downright lying about his vaccination status.

However, and it’s important to point out, the NFL and the Green Bay Packers KNEW his vaccination status the entire time. He’s had to follow a completely different set of protocols since the season began so none of this was a surprise to his coaches and teammates.

He then went on Pat McAfee to share his side of the story, saying that he was allergic to an ingredient in the vaccine, was worried about the possibility the vaccine affecting his ability to have children, and admitted that he followed what I’ll refer to as the “Joe Rogan protocol” for his own COVID treatment.

And today, on FOX NFL Sunday, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw ripped into him for lying to the public and taking Ivermectin, which he referred to (in a misleading way himself) as “cattle dewormer.”

“It would’ve been nice if he’d have just come down to the Naval Academy and learned to be honest. Learned not to lie. Because that’s what you did, Aaron. You lied to everyone.

What you were doing was talking stuff that would keep you from getting COVID-19, you got COVID-19, Ivermectin is a cattle dewormer, sorry folks that’s what it is.

We’re a divided national politically, we are a dividend nation on COVID-19, whether or not to take the vaccine and unfortunately we’ve got players that think only about themselves and I’m extremely disappointed in the actions of Aaron Rodgers.”

And here’s the thing…

Did Aaron Rodgers mislead the general public? Yeah, of course he did. But blasting him, while also spreading a false narrative about Ivermectin isn’t helpful either.

Ivermectin is an FDA-approved, Nobel Prize-winning drug that has been used to treat river blindness and parasites in millions and millions of people around the world for the past 25 years or so. Whether it effectively treats COVID is another story, but to push the false narrative that he’s taking “cattle dewormer” while calling him out for lying is pretty ironic.

And fans were quick to call it out.

Whether you support Aaron Rodgers vaccination stance or whether you think he’s a complete idiot, it doesn’t matter… we gotta tell the truth.

Of course, former NHL player and husband of country music superstar Carrie Underwood recently went viral himself for standing in support of Rodgers.
