Now you’re screwed.
The missing person case of Gabby Petito has been the biggest story in the news for the past month or so. And of course, our worst fears were realized when Gabby’s body was found in Wyoming recently, just north of Jackson Hole.
Heartbreaking, devastating… words don’t begin to describe the tragic death of the 22 year old.
And now, as the manhunt for her fiancé Brian Laundrie continues, one of the world’s best (or at least most famous) is on the case.
Dog the Bounty Hunter
According to Fox News, Duane Chapman, AKA Dog the Bounty Hunter, showed up at the Laundrie residence this afternoon, however his knocks were met with silence.
He was already in Florida on a honeymoon with his wife Francie Chapman when a number of people contacted him via social media to join the hunt.
Dog also lost a daughter around the same age as Gabby Petito to a car accident in 2006… so finding justice for Gabby is personal.
“I know what the victims feel like… we had a lot of requests that I get in on this. This is what I do for a living, for 45 years.
The reason I went to Mr. Laundrie is I carry a reputation with me. The reputation is, ‘He gives you a second chance. He’s gonna get you, but he gives you a second chance.’”
Laundrie was immediately named a person of interest in her disappearance, as they were on a cross county road trip together at the time of her disappearance.
Laundrie returned home to Florida at the beginning of September. He was alone. Gabby was reported missing on September 11th and Brian refused to cooperate with police regarding her whereabouts.
A week later, Brian disappeared.
He was also recently indicted for alleged debit card fraud, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Dog has a copy of that warrant and now officially on the hunt.
In a video with Fox 13, Dog shared his thoughts on where Brian could be hiding. And if he isn’t in Florida, Dog’s best guess is the Appalachian Trail.
You’re fucked Brian.
