Thomas Rhett and his wife are officially expecting their fourth baby girl.
He made the announcement last night during his show at the iconic Texas honky tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas.
Before a performance of his heartfelt new song “To The Guys That Date My Girls,” Rhett got the go-ahead from his wife to tell the crowd (very important fellas) and broke the news.
He told the rest of the world on Instagram:
“Well… we are pregnant again!
Tonight when I was on stage in Fort Worth about to play “to the guys that date my girls” my wife talked to me in my (ear monitors) and said “you can tell them if you want” so anyways, now you know.
We are pumped to be having our 4th girl feel free to buy all the merch you want, knowing that all the proceeds are going straight to all these weddings I’ll be paying for one day! Love you so much Lauren Akins we always wanted a big thanksgiving table.”
Baby girl number four will join her big sisters Willa Gray, Ada James, and Lennon Love.
As a guy that’s expecting a little girl of my own in a few months (first one), this track has become pretty meaningful for me in the past few, and one of the bright spots on Rhett’s new album Country Again (Side A).
“But when you pull her close
Save some room for Jesus
‘Cause if you ever cross that line, I swear
Boy, you’re gonna need him.”
Great line…
Congrats to the Rhett family.
