KT Smith, Morgan Wallen’s ex, can’t catch a break.
Once again, KT Smith has found herself in the thick of social media crossfire after her husband shared some content from their time at Stagecoach over the weekend. Ever since appearing on Bunnie Xo’s podcast, The Dumb Blonde Podcast, KT Smith has been under fire for airing intimate details of her relationship with her husband, Luke Scornavacco.
While I understand that part of being an influencer is sharing details of your life, if you’re trying to figure out whether to stay in a marriage or leave one, airing out all your intimate relationship details for the public to hear might not be the best idea.
However, KT Smith did just that when she appeared on Bunnie’s podcast, sharing why he and her husband were possibly headed for divorce. KT Smith noted that she felt like Luke wasn’t pulling his weight in the relationship, especially when it came to paying bills and other responsibilities. One piece of the interview that is sticking with fans is Smith noting that Scornavacco also being an influencer was a major “ick” for her.
“With social media, yes, and I told him that. So like the whole relationship, he didn’t really understand why I had such an ick from it and neither did I. Because I was like, one, I did not like being in videos that were planned. I didn’t wanna act on social media, I just didn’t wanna be part of that.
And that drove a wedge in our relationship of like, hey you make your own content, I’m gonna make my own, don’t involve me in it. Well then he looks at that as not being supportive. And then it wasn’t until I started therapy after, because always gone to therapy, but I was like this time I need to work on me.”
She later said that this “ick” came from past relationship trauma. Smith later said in the podcast that they were not 100% certain they were going to get a divorce, and she was hoping to work things out, but after the interview went live, it took virtually no time for Smith to be criticized on social media for this comment.
Given that she, too, is an influencer, and her husband had been working in social media long before they met, she was getting a lot of heat for being with him when she knew it bothered her.

Scornavacco later posted a video asking people to stop throwing hate her way, and that even though it had been a very difficult time in their relationship, he said nothing negative about his wife.
“I care and love for KT very dearly, and the last thing I want is there to be any negativity thrown her way. She is the mother of an amazing child who deserves to hear and see nothing but beautiful and positive things about his mother when he grows up.”

While the two have chosen to get back together and mend their broken relationship, social media has lost a lot of respect for Smith after she said all of this about her husband. Now, the happy couple is at Stagecoach, and KT Smith is participating in “staged” social media content, which is something she mentioned during Bunnie’s podcast that she specifically hates being a part of.
Scornavacco posted a video of him and KT at a Sonic Drive-In event, with Smith acting during many parts of the video playing the role of a smitten wife, who is in awe of attending influencer events at the California festival.

Once again, I can see why Smith would participate in this video, and so it has to have a certain feel and highlight aspects of the brand’s events at the festival, given that there was likely a check associated with it. However, given that she made it such a point of contention in the relationship, it does make fans raise an eyebrow that she was willing to participate.
No relationship is perfect, and it takes a lot to forgive each other to keep a relationship alive. However, KT Smith appears to be a major villain, slamming her husband online, claiming they were headed for divorce, and is now doing all the things she said drove her crazy.
Many of the comments, who apparently think very little of the concept of marriage, hope that Luke will realize he deserves better and eventually let her go… check out some of the hate:
